It appears to be a completely fictional design, save for having a Sterling SMG magwell, a short magazine protruding out the left side, and what appears to be a shotgun pump handle on top of the receiver. 'Aiming' the blaster activates an alternate fire.
Star Wars Battlefront uses a feature called Star Cards to customize your gameplay. These cards do many things ranging from grenades and special weapons to abilities that boost you for a short time. There are different categories of star cards, so it is important to know what you are buying.
I'm going to help by explaining each star cards and separating them into their 3 categories. If you are looking for other ways to customize your character, look at meStar Wars Battlefront Blaster Guide and Tips.

- Star Cards Info - A list of every Star Card, separated into 3 categories.
- Star Cards Tips - Info on when it is useful to use certain Star Cards.
Star Cards Info
Star Cards are set to a 'Hand', which consists of 2 Star Cards and 1 Charged Star Card. Charged Star Cards have a limited number of uses, but you can buy more with credits or find them during battle.
Once you buy a card, you can spend credits to upgrade it. This can reduce cooldowns, increase the duration of the effect, or provide new bonuses.
Star Cards
Thermal Detonator (Rank 2, 500 Credits)
- Grenade that explodes after a short time.
Standard grenade and useful at any time. Definitely pick this up as soon as you get to Rank 2.
Scout Pistol (Rank 3, 500 Credits)
- Pistol good for killing at short range.
This is an okay card to use at low ranks, but if you are high enough to get other cards, replace this one.
Ion Torpedo (Rank 4, 1,700 Credits)
- Homing torpedo that deals heavy damage to vehicles and stationary weapons.
Ion is effective against shields, droids, and vehicles. This is great when playing a mode with vehicles, such as Walker Assault.
Pulse Cannon (Rank 4, 1,700 Credits)
- Long-range rifle that deals damage based on how long you charge it.
This is a great card for those that like to shoot long range. If you fully charge it, it does a lot of damage. You can also cancel the charge by pressing the melee button.
Impact Grenade (Rank 6, 1,700 Credits)
- Smaller blast radius than a Thermal Detonator, but it explodes on impact.
If you can aim well when throwing, this is better than the Thermal Detonator because there is no delay in the explosion.
Ion Grenade (Rank 9, 2,300 Credits)
- Grenade that deals massive damage to shields, droids, and vehicles.
If you want to take down vehicles fast, this is the grenade of choice. It is very effective to use this, Ion Torpedo, and Ion Shot when playing as Rebels during Walker Assault.
Homing Shot (Rank 11, 3,100 Credits)
- Long-range rifle that shots a homing explosive.
Like the Pulse Cannon, this is great for long range. You have to zoom in and lock-on before you can fire, but it instantly kills most soldiers if it hits.
Jump Pack (Rank 13, 3,100 Credits)
- Allows you jump higher and over large distances.
The jump pack is very helpful for getting to higher places that you can't normally reach. This is useful for getting into a sniper position, or escaping enemies.
Smoke Grenade (Rank 16, 3,100 Credits)
- Grenade that blocks visibility and lock-on weapons.
Smoke Grenades are good when you want to stop people from locking-on to you. It can also provide a distraction for you to attack or escape.
Flash Grenade (Rank 20, 3,100 Credits)
- Provides a bright flash and loud noise to disorient opponents.
This does not deal any damage, but it can stun enemies so you they can be killed by other weapons. Also good for making escapes, similar to the smoke grenade.
Barrage (Rank 24, 3,100 Credits)
- Grenade launcher that fires a volley of 3 grenades that explode after a short time.
This is fantastic for taking out groups of enemies are pushing them out of an area. Even if you don't kill anyone, they can make themselves vulnerable by leaving the area.
Cycler Rifle (Rank 28, 3,100 Credits)
- Long-range rifle that deals kinetic damage.
Unlike blasters, the Cycler rifle does not deal energy damage. That makes this gun ideal for killing enemies with shields. It also does massive damage and at long-range, making this the perfect card for snipers.
Bowcaster (Rank 32, 3,100 Credits)
- Weapon that shoots 1 or more explosive bolts, depending on how long you charge it.
The bowcaster is like shooting multiple explosives at once in an arc in front of you. You can hit multiple people, or focus on one enemy when using this card.
Charged Star Cards
Cooling Cell (Rank 7, 1,700 Credits)
- When activated, vents heat from your main weapons and prevent further heat build-up for a short time.
This is great when you need to keep firing and don't want to worry about overheating.
Focus Fire (Rank 7, 1,700 Credits)
- Stabilizes weapon accuracy for a short time.
This helps keep your weapon stable if you are having trouble aiming.
Ion Shot (Rank 7, 1,700 Credits)
- Causes your primary weapon to fire ion bolts for a short time.
Ion is effective against shields, droids, and vehicles. This is great when playing a mode with vehicles, such as Walker Assault.
Scan Pulse (Rank 13, 1,700 Credits)
- Reveals enemy soldiers in a 360-degree radius for a short time.
If you don't want enemies to hide from you, this is the Charged Star Card to use.
Explosive Shot (Rank 18, 1,700 Credits)
- Causes your primary weapon to fire explosive bolts for a short time.
This is good for doing extra area damage to take out multiple enemies.
Personal Shield (Rank 22, 1,700 Credits)
- Provides protection from energy weapons, but no defense against kinetic weapons like grenades and Cycler Rifles.
If you need some extra defense against blasters, this card helps a lot. Just remember grenades and Cycler Rifles will still hurt.
Traits
Traits are a special star card. You don't put this in your hand and instead choose only one. These give kill streak rewards every 3 kills. You start at level 1 every match and can go up to level 3. If you die, you only go down one level. For example, if you are level 3 and die, you go down to level 2. This way, you don't need to start from level 1 again.
Bodyguard (Rank 15, 7,000 Credits)
- Level 1 - Decreases explosive damage by a small amount.
- Level 2 - Decreases explosive damage by a medium amount.
- Level 3 - Decreases explosive damage by a large amount and blaster damage by a small amount.
Scout (Rank 15, 7,000 Credits)
- Level 1 - Sprinting does not show on enemy scanner.
- Level 2 - Sprinting and firing your primary weapon does not show on enemy scanner.
- Level 3 - Sprinting and firing your primary weapon does not show on enemy scanner and killing an enemy resets weapon heat.
Survivalist (Rank 15, 7,000 Credits)
- Level 1 - Health regeneration starts a bit faster.
- Level 2 - Health regeneration starts faster
- Level 3 - Health regeneration starts much faster and replenish a small amount of health with each kill.
Bounty Hunter (Rank 26, 7,000 Credits)
- Level 1 - Low chance to get a Power-up with each kill.
- Level 2 - Medium chance to get a power-up with each kill.
- Level 3 - High chance to get a power-up with each kill and resets cooldown with each kill.
Sharpshooter (Rank 26, 7,000 Credits)
- Level 1 - Headshot kills reduce cooldowns by a small amount.
- Level 2 - Headshot kill reduce current cooldowns by a medium amount.
- Level 3 - Headshot kills reduce current cooldowns by a large amount.
I think that Scout and Bounty Hunter are the Traits to focus on. The enemy not seeing you on radar is huge and lets you sneak up on them with ease. This is helpful in all game modes and can turn the tide of battle.
Bounty Hunter is great as well because you have a chance to get a power-up with every kill. You can get some good power-ups without the need to look for them on the map.

Star Wars Battlefront 2(Battlefront 2; Star Wars Battlefront 1 is the first version that came out in 2015) is a First/Third-Person Shooter game for Xbox Windows and PS4. The first area of this Guide will be about the basics, Then how each class works. The last part will be a bonus section for people who have played before and have some experience.
Basics
Battle points. Battle points will help you get more kills and have more fun. You get them from basically anything from getting kills to capping objectives. They can get you rocket troopers, enforcers and every single hero in the game, unlike Battlefront 1. If you don’t use them, your will not have as much fun in Battlefront 2.
The 2 Classes.
This section will be about the four classes, how to play them and their star cards. I got a lot of this info from my own experience playing the game, but the rest is from https://www.windowscentral.com/star-wars-battlefront-2-star-card-guide.
Assault
How to Play
Difficulty: Easy
The first Class is assault. It is the basic offensive purpose class. It’s a class where you go into their area and kill them from close range with a partner or not you can play this class. That is why this class is the simplest class in this game.
The assault’s class abilities (without star cards) are Left button (LB) Thermal detonator Right button (RB). Those two we will call the ‘basic’ abilities. But your LB + RB is your special ability. For Assault it’s special ability is Vanguard.
A thermal detonator is a grenade that takes time to blow up once you throw it. But if there’s an unlucky specialist too close to that bomb “1 Player Kill Streak”. The Scan dart is in my opinion the worst Assault ability ever. It gives you an area of view on the mini map in a small area to see enemies.
Assault’s Special ability is OP. You pull out a shotgun that can 1 shot all enemies except heavy’s. Against a hero this ability can 2-4 shot them. This ability can wreck anything below 700 health.

Resourceful – All of your abilities have shorter recharge times.

Smart Ion Grenade – This Ion Grenade automatically detonates near enemy shield and vehicles, dealing heavy damage to them.
Slug Vanguard – An improved version of Vanguard with a single slug for improved accuracy and range.

Killstreak Vanguard – An improved version of Vanguard that replenishes your active time when you defeat an enemy.
Improved Scan Dart – An Improved Scan Dart that stays active for longer, revealing enemy locations.
Toughen Up – Regenerate your health while this ability is active.
Flash Pistol – A light and versatile sidearm that can fire an alternate projectile that causes a blinding effect on the victim.
That thing above this sentence was gotten at https://www.windowscentral.com/star-wars-battlefront-2-star-card-guide.
In my opinion you should get these 3 cards. This are by far the best the best assault set up with minor adjustments depending on your play style. First Toughen Up. It heals you like your regening except you heal even while you’re getting shot. Second, Improved Thermal Detonator is very helpful. First, the faster recharge time is so helpful. It can get you that extra damage to get a kill or make them fall back if you’re in trouble, so you can retreat. Use Killstreak vanguard. It lets your vanguard last longer while killing enemies.
Heavy
How to Play
Difficulty: Hard/Medium
Heavy is the Second class. They have heavy firepower, destroying the enemies with tons of guns, tons of health and 2/10 mobility. It is a more of a tank and will lead your team forward for the victory. If you play heavy this way you need to be an experienced player, otherwise, you’re going to die or barely get any kills or Battle Points. If your new this is a fairly noob friendly class except it’s harder to get kills, then if you play Assault. In comparison to Assault, Heavy is good on some maps, Theed, Maz’s castle and the second Deathstar. But on other maps like Hoth and Crait it will not do so well. Heavy will lead the game doing better with an officer and not a big open map.
Heavy Star Cards
Heavy Boost Cards
Defender – You gain a small amount of score for each hit you take.
Marksman – When you defeat an enemy with a headshot, your weapon heat will be reset and your weapon will produce less heat until you overheat next time.
Expert Weapons Handling – Your weapon cooling success states are longer.
Star Wars Battlefront Overheat Bonus Deluxe Edition
Brawler – When you defeat an enemy in melee combat, your abilities refresh and you gain a small amount of health.
Bodyguard – Take reduced damage from explosions and toxins.
Survivalist – Your health regeneration delay is shorter than normal.
Bounty Hunter – You gain Battle Points at an increased rate.
Resourceful – All of your abilities have shorter recharge times.
Heavy Ability Cards
Improved Impact Grenade – A more powerful version of the Impact Grenade, featuring a larger blast radius and shorter recharge time.
Ion Torpedo – Weapon that fires a missile that tracks the locked vehicle and deals high damage.
Detonite Charge – A powerful manually detonated explosive device. RETRIGGER ACTION: Detonate
Mobile Sentry – A lightweight version of the Sentry with increased mobility at the cost of damage output. In this version, besides the explosive damage reduction, your health generation starts as you deploy Sentry mode.
Star Wars Battlefront Overheat Bonus Codes
Supercharged Sentry – A supercharged version of Sentry with a small explosive blast added to each shot. In this version, besides taking reduced explosive damage, your health regeneration starts as you deploy into Sentry mode.
Explosive Sentry – A heavily modified version of the Sentry weapon, featuring a high explosive fire mode with a slow rate of fire. The increased weight of the weapon makes it impossible to fire on the move.
Improved Combat Shield – An improved version of the Combat Shield featuring additional health and quicker recharge. RETRIGGER ACTION: Undeploy shield.
Barrage – In the Barrage configuration, this MPL (Multi-Purpose Launcher) fires multiple small grenades.
There are 3 different heavy builds in my opinion. One, for tanking with other people and the second one for getting kills. The third one is a tank/ bp build. So Tanking Build. First Body Guard. It helps you survive Grenades and at max lets you only take 75% of the damage that you would normally take. Second, Improved Combat Shield. It lets your shield take more damage and reduces the recharge, so you can have it up roll into cover then have it recharge then come back, switching with another heavy. Finally, the Survivalist. This card is so helpful reducing the time it takes to regain your health to get your full 200 health and then jumping back to protect your team. For this build I suggest using the TL-50 for this build and the DC-15LE if you do not have the TL-50.
The Second build is the build for getting kills. First use Barrage. It’s good for storming objectives. But, if your defending the objective use detonate charge. When approaching the objective, use it with RB. Then get to a spot too barrage the objective area. If you’re on a close quarters map like Deathstar 2 just run in and shoot the grenades and get to cover. Second, use the Ion Turret. It is helpful in almost all situations, from capping objectives to making a choke point. Use it to kill people in Galactic Assault or to close routes to return the plans in strike. Finally, Explosive Sentry. Get in front of an objective and one-shot specialists and 2 shot everything else. It is helpful in almost all situations besides very close quarters areas. It has a slow rate of fire but AoE damage and very high at least. You can step into a hall weigh and hit 4 people who are sprinting down it. If you get lucky you just got 4 kills. Use the DC-15LE for this build.
For the final build; the BP build. Use Defender. It gives you up to 7 bps for each time you get hit. Use Bounty Hunter. It will give use up to 20% More Bps. The last star card is whatever you want/ have. Get whatever star card will help you get hit the most or whatever card will help you get the most kills. For this build use whatever gun you like the best.
Officer
How to Play
Difficulty: Easy/Medium
Officers are the support class in Star Wars Battlefront. They have pistols and the run around the map healing people and stunning enemies. The reason is that they are kind of broken. They are good on almost any map, they have the best gun in the game, and they have the best grenade and can get insane amount of battle points. That’s all there is to talk amount them. Let’s get into the fun stuff.
Officer Boost Cards
Officer’s Presence – Reduces the delay before nearby allies’ health regeneration begins.
Marksman – When you defeat an enemy with a headshot, your weapon heat will be reset and your weapon will produce less heat until you overheat next time.
Expert Weapons Handling – Your weapon cooling success states are longer.
Officer Ability Cards
Improved Flash Grenade – An improved version of the Flash Grenade, with increased blast radius and damage output. RETRIGGER ACTION: Split into fragments.
Homing Shot – A weapon that locks on to enemy soldiers and fires a guided missile to track them down.
Defuser – A device that creates an electrically charged field in a large area around its user for a limited time that automatically defuses any incoming explosives
Blast Command – An improved version of Battle Command that gives unlimited blaster cooling to yourself and nearby allies for a limited time.
Recharge Command – Boost yourself and friendly soldiers in your vicinity by taking your abilities out of recharge and increasing your recharge speed for a limited time.
Improved Battle Command – An improved version of Battle Command that has a shorter recharge time, bigger effective radius, and also buffs yourself.
Improved Blaster Turret – An improved version of the Blaster Turret with increased health and shorter recharge time. RETRIGGER ACTION: Self-destruct.
Squad Shield – A portable energy shield that protects users from blasters and other energy weapons. RETRIGGER ACTION: Undeploy shield.
Disruption – A modified defusion device which creates a burst of ionized energy that overheats enemy weapons, defuses explosives and temporarily disables turrets.
The best star card selection in my opinion is the BP Build. If you want to play as heroes and do well overall use this build. First, Officer’s Presence. It gives increased health regen to nearby teammates and generates you 15 bps a sec for each teammate healed. Secondly, Bounty Hunter. It gives you 5-20% increased bp. It works well with Officer’s Presence because now Officer’s Presence gives 20% more as well with getting kills assists and objective points. Finally, Improved battle command. It has increased Radius and heals yourself this is good because at the start you can use it and get 4-5 hundred battle points. It’s also good for when you’re about to die. Yay 100 free hp “Double Kill” Lol.
If you’re going to go for officer kills you should use this Build. Disruption. You move towards your enemies use disruption and kill them with your gun while there disarmed. Yay free stuff. Next you should use Recharge Command. If you’re with a bunch of teammates; boom they can use all their abilities. A Heavy can use his sentry again an assault can throw a Thermal detonator. The final one you can choose. You use which ever one you want. I like to use Survivalist or Bounty hunter.
Specialist
How to Play
Difficulty: Medium/Hard
The Specialist is a hard class to use because you NEED to have aim to successfully play this class. If you are good with this class and have all the weapons and star cards unlocked, you will be a master. The specialist can be a very close-range god or a one shooting sniper. Punch and zap all your enemies and gain 100 health and have your abilities reset or go on 12 Player Kill Streaks with your sniper and thermal binoculars
Specialist Boost Cards
Stealth – You remain hidden from enemy scanners when firing your weapon, and you deal increased melee damage.
Marksman – When you defeat an enemy with a headshot, your weapon heat will be reset and your weapon will produce less heat until you overheat next time.
Expert Weapons Handling – Your weapon cooling success states are longer.
Specialist Ability Cards
Improved Shock Grenade – An improved Shock Grenade that has a longer duration and radius.
Stinger Pistol – A pistol firing stinger projectiles that deal damage over time, preventing the victims from regenerating health. Deals additional damage to heroes and villains.
Star Wars Battlefront Overheat Bonus
Repulsor Cannon – A modified version of the CA-87 weapon that fires a powerful short-range shockwave, capable of knocking enemies off their feet.
Hardened Infiltration – An improved version of Infiltration where you gain incoming damage reduction to increase your survivability on the battlefront.
Scramble Infiltration – An improved version of Infiltration that marks enemies for your allies and scrambles all enemy scanners in range.
Star Wars Battlefront Overheat Bonus Xbox
Killstreak Infiltration – An improved version of Infiltration that replenishes your active time when you defeat an enemy.
Improved Thermal Binoculars – An improved version of the Thermal Binoculars that allows you to tag enemies and relay their locations to your teammates.
Personal Shield – Creates a shield bubble surround you and blocking damage from all direction. You cannot fire your weapon while the shield is active.
Trip Mine – A mine with laser tripwire. Detonates when an enemy soldier crosses the tripwire.
The 2 best builds are the sniper build and the melee build. I’m going to go over the sniper build first. The first star card you will want for this build is Stealth. Then Repulsor cannon, and finally Hardened Infiltration. Stealth helps you stay hidden from other snipers and ground troops. Repulsor cannon to kill enemies who might sneak up behind you Hardened Infiltration for when you are getting swarmed.
The Second build, melee. For This build you again, want Repulsor Cannon, Also Trip Mine and brawler. Set up your trip mine get your repulsor cannon and get them low and then melee their face off. Once you get set up and guard one door with your trip mine guard the other one with your repulsor cannon. If you can always go for the melee and get 100 hp and ability reset.
